ORCA Wear is here!
We held a 5th grade design contest for a new Orca Wear logo. Thank you, Tanner Mcvey-Naseth in Ms. Keane’s class for the awesome design! Shirts and hoodies are now available to order online through April 29th. click on the design to place an order, or follow this link -
Elementary PTA has teamed up with High Trek Adventures (located in Paine Field Community Park) to encourage strong reading habits and outdoor adventures.
The R4A (Read for Adventure) Program will run through the month of March 2022. Students who achieve the reading goal of 8 hours (480 minutes) of recreational reading during the month of March will earn a voucher from High Trek Adventures. www.HighTrekEverett.com Odyssey Elementary students have 3 options to choose from:
Option 1: 1-hour Ropes Course and Ziplines (value ticket)
Climbers (ages 4 and up) will have access to the Cadet Course and 2 ground level ziplines. Climbers (ages 7 and up) will have access to the Captains course (up to 45 feet in the air) with over 60 obstacles and 3 ziplines.
Option 2: 1-hour Outdoor Tactical Laser Tag or Mini-Golf
Option 3: Coupon for $50 off tuition for Single Day Summer Camp
Day camp offers 7 hours of adventure most week days during summer. Participants get to experience the ropes course, laser tag, and mini-golf plus much more.
R4A (Read for Adventure) Program timeline:
March 1st - 31st: Odyssey Elementary students read & log their progress. This is intended to be recreational reading only.
April 1st – 15th: Use the Google doc at this link to complete the online R4A Student Reading Submission Form. This is where you will submit your child’s voucher choice.
April 1st – 18th: PTA reviews Google submissions.Vouchers will be issued and delivered by High Trek Adventures via email before May 1st and will be available for immediate use upon receipt. This will go to the e-mail address on the online R4A Student Reading Submission Form sent via Google doc.
